The Enlightenment and Scientific Revolution

The Assignment

In Google Docs or PowerPoint, create a Presentation to present to your history class about the topic you choose.  YOU are responsible for teaching the class about your assigned topic.  Follow these guidelines:

• Your presentation must successfully answer the question, "How does your person or topic CONNECT to the Age of Enlightenment or The Scientific Revolution?"
• Groups of 1-2 (3 only if no other options)
• Your presentation should contain a minimum of FOUR and maximum of SIX slides (1 title slide and 3-5 content slides)
• The first slide (the title slide) should contain the title of your presentation, the first and last names of the people who worked on the presentation, and your class period
• There must be at least one image on each content slide
• There may be no more than 140 characters on each slide
• Create your presentation using Google Docs or PowerPoint.  If you need help with Google Docs, please don’t hesitate to ask for my help.
• Share your presentation with Mr. Jacobs at justinscjacobs@gmail.com
• Name your presentation using the correct format:  period code (PER4, PER5, or PER6), assignment code (TESR stands for The Enlightenment and Scientific Revolution), first and last names of partners working on the presentation (ask how to spell your partner's name correctly).  For example:
• PER2 TESR Michael Smith and Kendal Jones
• PER4 TESR Suzie Martinez and John Stevens
• If you decide to use PowerPoint, you need to make sure to bring a USB drive to save your presentation on the day we work on it in class.
• This is will be worked on in class on May 14 and presented on May 16.  Be prepared to deliver your presentation to the class.
