Today was a review day for our benchmark next class. Your homework is to do the "Test Yourself" questions at the end of chapters 14, 15, 16, and 17. With each question you need to write the question and the answer out completely.

Today we discussed and learned about artists and authors of the Renaissance period. The PPT will be uploaded to my file cabinet for any of you who were absent. We watched the BrainPop video on William Shakespeare. Lastly, our homework was to find a piece of renaissance art and write a paragraph on it. An example about the Mona Lisa has been uploaded to the file cabinet as well.

Today we turned in our levels project. We discussed a new journal topic and read section 3 of chapter 17. Our homework is to complete the 5-4-3-2-1 that we started in class for section 3.

Today we took our vocab quiz for the Renaissance unit. If you were absent you will make it up on Tuesday. We finished our video on Leonardo da Vinci and worked on level 10 for our Levels Project.

REMINDER: Levels Project is due with all ten levels completed on Tuesday, March 6 at the start of class.

In class today we discussed a journal on creativity and then began a video on the life of Leonardo da Vinci. I will post the link to the YouTube source of this video once I am back home since it is blocked here at school.

REMINDER: There is a vocab quiz on the Renaissance at the beginning of class Friday. Your homework is to study!

Today was a busy day in class. We discussed a journal topic, read section 1 of chapter 17, worked on our toolkits and our homework is vocab/Italy map.

Today we graded INB's in class. We began a new unit called the Renaissance with an introductory PPT. We created a unit cover page and our homework was to complete Level 9 of the levels project by Monday, February 27.
